Rented a ski-in-ski-out and the location & powder was great our weekend. 
Signed up for two day lessons and by happenstance had near private lessons day one and a private lesson day two - no group minimum, they didn’t cancel. Just ski up to the people in bright green and they will take you around. 
The chair lifts are old and generally crummy and a bit torn up. They need an update. Also, it is hard to pop off without flailing around most of the time.

Whitefish Mountain has a huge variety of terrain for everyone and pretty consistently good snow. The lift operators are friendly and fun and the views are absolutely spectacular. Most of their lifts are high speed, and there are a lot of them so lift lines are kept to a minimum.  My only critique is that the Hellroaring Saloon used to be a great place to get some great food in a comfortable atmosphere. The food is still good but, on a recent stop, the music was so incredibly loud that I don't know how our waitress heard our order. (I mean - it was so loud that I think it's truly dangerous for the people working there. Can you say hearing loss?!!)

Best Mtn in Northwest MT.  This place has so much amazing terrain.  The view alone is worth the trip to the summit house.  New chair on East Rim is Excellent and offers so much more visible terrain not to mention one can lap it finally! Love this Place, Life Time Pass Holder from now on.  Get Shredding!

Great place to ski.  These folks work hard for everybody.  Want great off-piste skiing, this is your place.  Want great groomers, this is your place. Want a great family resort, ditto.  Simply, quietly outstanding!

Absolutely stunning views from all over. Great runs and quick lifts get you to the top to maximize your time. Instructors on the slopes were helpful and offering pointers for newer boarders who weren't even in their class. Had a wonderful time here.
