Established 1939, the home of the non-profit Whittier Art Association, offering arts education to all ages and supporting local artists.
The Art Association built the gallery in 1939 on donated land. For 75 years we have offered continuous monthly exhibits of the best available art work free to the public. The Whittier Art Gallery is one of the few galleries in California where the land and building is owned by the art association. We are a non-profit 501(C)3 that is supported by membership dues, gallery rental fees, sales of art work and donations.
