The owner does watch you like a hawk assuming you're going to steal something!!
That's fine he probably have a lot of people stealing from him considering he's so rude.
That was my experience when I had my family in there he was very rude very short and not at all pleasant. 
He was particular rude to my two boys because they were touching his precious skateboards.
Figured he his  attitude would lighten up when  my wife drop $80 bucks !!! but NO he continued to be rude!!!!
So there is no confusion!!!!

*Great surf shop but Just I can't justify buying from someone that is such a (d@&$) !

Rented a bike to ride on the boardwalk two mornings in a row. They were relaxed about the hour and a half rental time. When taking the bike, I was told to "use my own clock" which was great. I didn't have to stress about having the bike back exactly within the time period.

The store owner will watch you like a hawk. Ok, no biggie. I get it. But when I asked if the dress I was buying was on sale, the owner gave a little attitude with me and told me that the price is already cheap as is. I wouldn't buy from here.

Great family run surf shop.  Over the years, I have bought my kids a surf board, boogie boards, a long board skate board and assorted clothing. Prices are reasonable.  Customer service is excellent.  Their midnight madness sale is worth hitting if you are around when they run it.
