I have a broken tooth, a front one. He wouldnt look at me or even sit in eyesight with me. He made an assumption based on my insurance i would not be able to afford any service besides an extraction. Not his call. I wouldnt have left a star if i could have left a review without one. This man should have no license for anything serving people. The staff is amazing and hope they can find other jobs in the near future. Oregon health plan is NOT welfare insurance you dolt. You are saying "if their expectations are realistic", so what you are saying is, my insurance wont cover me having a front tooth. Guess what? That also is a lie. I urge anyone on capitol dental not to quit until you find someone to fulfil your expectations. Don't let someone ignorant ever make you feel you arent worth it. You are.

Place was small and the staff/dentist were nice. However, he cleaned my teeth for approximately 10 minutes, after confirming that I had eleven cavities. He did not suggest that I get a deep cleaning, which I thought I would need especially since I have not gotten my teeth cleaned for a couple of years and I have eleven captives. Overall, I felt like I did not receive the proper care I needed; he could have spent more time cleaning my teeth and making me feel comfortable.

Do not go here! The cleaning was poor it was about ten minutes long. He refused to do a crown unless I agreed to pay out of pocket because "my insurance dose not pay him enough," even though it is covered. As for fillings when I asked about using composite he wouldn't give me an exact cost or treatment plan. Then he walked out on me while I was trying to discuss my options! I would give no stars if it was possible!

All of the staff was very kind. I had three fillings done, and while they're fine, the needles used were large and seemingly outdated. I didn't feel very listened to, and had to be renumbed three or four times. While he was nice and semi-gentle, it was a pretty nerve racking experience.
