The campground and facilities are fine, flush toilets and showers but it's located just of the highway across from a truck stop so lots of traffic noise. Also it sounded like I was camping on a train track. The track is just the other side of the Interstate and they blow their horns as they go by all night. I would not stay here again.

Nice full hook up sites. Not too close together and usually have good size pads around them. Campground is right on the interstate so its loud round the clock with vehicle noise (ie diesel truck traffic).

My favorite favorite faaavorite place to camp! What other campground has dozens of semi-clean bathrooms with running water AND showers within walking distance of every campground? NONE! What other campground has like 3 beaches within 500 miles? NOOOONE! Now here's the downside: there are almost no freaking fish in the reservoir! What the crap happened? I used to catch catfish and crappies galore years before, now they are either all killed off because of the frequent drainings, or not restocked enough. Please get your fish back in normal numbers, I miss catching them so much and it's been about 4 years since I've been able to catch anything other than carp!

There were a lot of flies this year, but, otherwise, this campground is a great little get away spot that's not far away.
