I really liked Dr. Barkoff's mannerism. He was candid, very thorough, professional, and demonstrated knowledge of his trade. I'd recommend him to family and friends. The staff was very hospitable and nice too.

Very kind and good doctor, reassuring, professional, humane. You can feel he cares for the people he treats, I was a new patient and he really took time to comprehend what happened. Strikingly rare in NY... Would recommend him and the surrounding staff without any doubt. Don't be in a rush though, that is the price to pay to see someone like that...

i am usually not a big fan of writing reviews... in case of dr. barkoff i have though... has 3 peaces of a shelf in my food. got it form kitesurfing. would not heal for 3 weeks. i called up, got an appointment right away. dr. barkoff was super nice and professional. thanks again

Dr. Barkoff loves his work! I went to his office with chronic tendinitis of the inner ankle and he properly diagnosed the problem as being caused by my flat feet. He prescribed orthotics for me only to find that my insurance company wasn't much into 'footing' the bill. (Sorry but that wrote itself.) Instead of calling me with that bad news, Dr. Barkoff fought for me by going the extra mile in convincing the insurance company that these orthotics were imperative to my good health since the tendinitis was keeping me from properly exercising. And sure enough, a few weeks later he called me with the GREAT news that they acquiesced and would in fact be covering the devices! Dr. Barkoff has a genuine and interested bedside manner, really knows his specialty and will surely be a step in the right direction (It happened again) if you're finding yourself ailed in your sole(s).
