Parking is free and easy, and sales associates are knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. Wilson’s is one of only a handful of family-owned department stores left in America. Wilson's is one of the last remaining hometown department stores that used to be the staple of almost every city in America. It's a trip down memory lane, with good prices on quality products, and great service. They even have a candy counter! It's a joy to shop there.

A little bit of a throwback- a locally-owned store that carries almost everything you could ever need under one roof. The store itself is a little bit dated in the interior decor, but they do have a good selection of clothing, housewares, toys and shoes. Prices are reasonable ( I can only assume a store like this can't buy in bulk like a large chain can) and when there's a sale, especially with toys and housewares, you can get a good bargain here. I've always thought the service here varied between very good to excellent. There was a time when every moderate-sized town had a locally owned store just like this, that carried everything you could ever really need. If you're in the area, it's probably worth it to stop in just to see how it used to be, before the chain stores took over.

Wilsons is a wonderful old style department store. Don't miss it if you are in Greenfield MA. If you are young see what shopping used to be. If you are older relive the experience.

Private, historic, multi story department store. Unique! Truly reasonable deals. Excellent kitchen and toy departments.

It's not the 1980's any more. You can't treat people like rubbish and expect to remain in business. Avoid at all costs!!!
