They are amazing. I love how present they are on the streets and how friendly they are. I took my 8 year old (who would not keep her seatbelt on) there this morning and an officer came out and spoke with her. He was frank, to the point, but also very approachable and kind. He was amazing and I honestly do not think I will ever have the problem again! I am so grateful!

The Windsor Heights PD is reason enough never to go through Windsor Heights. 'Civil Fines' issued & unchallengeable through their third-party service (they don't even match the city's own operating hours). But civil, with the authority of the police department, but otherwise silent - unless you're pulled over, there's definitely some contrived fine coming; but, you'll be given due process. That's still a negative though or you would be able to easily drive through the area - the police department has just been complacent to Windsor Heights' extra-legal revenue generation. Of course, all of this is my opinion; judge for yourself...

Radar is a little ridiculous. Roads are terrible - like driving 25 mph on level B roads. I support law enforcement, but it's just a little too much in too little of area.

I support police, when they are worth supporting. This department is not worth supporting. I've had to go through hell and high water to jump through hoops for these bankrolling thugs for years now, and I'm hardly the only one. I'm certain there are wholesome, decent men and women serving every day for Windsor Heights, but they are serving a system that is broken beyond simple repair. They tailgate, entrap, hide away just enough to still be visible, and have installed a system of traffic cameras all over their territory who are owned out of state in Tempe, AZ. They collect revenue like church offerings and do nothing to give back to their community but spend more on their own protections. Several times I have spoken to members of my local courthouse, mentioning these incidents as they have occurred, and have received very vocal and literal laughter from judges, bailiffs, and even officers from neighboring police departments. Windsor Heights is a joke, and their police love to laugh it up while they oppress the poor and the rich alike by slapping on any reason they can find to take your cash. If you believe in and would like to support your local police forces, please do so, but do not support these elitist brutes.

It's not the police fault. They're just doing their jobs but the city of Windsor Heights and their police force are unconstitutional thieves and definitely make themselves look bad.
