Dr. Prettyman and Dr. Herring are wonderful. Although my birth didn’t go as planned (needed a c-section), Dr. Herring did a fantastic job on my surgery, and my baby is 100% safe and healthy. 

Office visits were easy to schedule, I rarely waited to see my doctor, and each appointment I left feeling educated and prepared for what was to come. On the 1 occasion when Dr. Prettyman was running behind, the nurse gave me the option to see a midwife instead so I wouldn’t have to wait. 

The nurses and ultrasound staff do a great job listening to concerns and answering questions. 

I would 100% recommend this office if you are looking for OB care.

Not the service we expected. They repeatedly send insurance information incorrect to third party (radiology). We are getting a letter from collective agency yesterday. When we contacted the insurance, they do not receive any medical claim regarding the designated service. Moreover, this center does not have any proper email for after hour contact! These are the main issues we faced with this center.

I've seen the midwives with both pregnancies. However in the end I had to see the doctors. Aside from my personal opinions of how the midwives handle certain things, I have never had any major issues. Dr. Prettyman is awesome and I'd recommend them!

I'd been coming here for the past couple of years, always seeing Dr. Van Riper (who was wonderful and retired recently.) I came in for my annual appointment today and had a terrible experience -- the receptionist asked for my insurance card and as soon as I began handing it to her, she told me it was expired because she'd already checked it apparently (would've been nice to get a phone call about it then!) I just moved back to WV from another state and wasn't sure what insurance of mine is still current after changing jobs, etc. She was very brusque and unhelpful about it and when I started to offer her my other insurance card to see if they could check it, she snapped "I can't check those" before taking it back to her boss so they could call about it. Long story short, neither of them were current, which is obviously stressful as a woman trying to get an annual check up and prescription renewal. It would've been nice if the receptionist had at least been kinder and more understanding about it. I don't know that I'll be back.

I appreciate how accomadating and caring the nurses, nurse practitioner, and Dr. Prettyman have been in the past, and again recently. I would recommend this office to anyone.
