Great neighborhood bar. I love this dive..there’s great wings and karaoke. The new owner has cleaned it up a lot, and it’s really fun. The bartenders are courteous and on point. The wings are great. Karaoke and pool is fun. I smoke cigarettes, and you can smoke here. It’s multicultural and welcoming to all races. They have Sweetwater on draft.

I personally know the previous and new owner of this bar. The previous owner was only interested in money. However, the new owner is genuinely interested in her employees and patrons. I have known Teresa a great deal of my life and she is a wonderful person. I know 'the Nickel' has changed in the last few years bit I have no doubt that Teresa can bring it back to what it was in its glory days. If you've had bad experiences there, I urge you to give Teresa and her new team a chance.

I have lived down the street from this place for five years...I only visited once and that was a couple of years ago. My husband and I came here for our date night. The live band, the staff, and the food were all great. It was the people that this place attracted that made us.. Uneasy.. We never went back after that. We felt like we should of brought protection with us. Change the environment and maybe we will come back.

This is a such versatile atmosphere, I was hired by the owner to DJ every Sat night, I must admit, as a DJ I love it when I see mature crowd having a great time, I would recommend anyone to this place.
