It was my first time here and I've got to say, the food was DELICIOUS! I had the chicken and waffle and couldn't have been more pleased with my choice. The service is great and staff is very friendly. Thanks you guys for making my first experience great. My family will be back. Oh and I can't forget the slot machines! Love it

Excellent food and atmosphere. Although, if you go on a weekend, make sure your waiter doesn't forget about you... We sat for over 15 minutes waiting for her to bring the check (after we already waited and asked a separate waiter for a to-go box)... eventually we stopped another waiter and asked if our waitress has left...she hadn't. When she came back with our card (that we had given to the other waiter) she straight up told us that on weekends, people are assigned outside of usual seat zones...and that she forgot all about us!

My mother and I decided to try the Woodridge Cafe for breakfast. I live in the area and thought it would be nice to try the local diner. The first thing we noticed when we walked in were the lack of booths. I know booths in restaurants these days are not the "thing", many restaurants have only tables now for a more airy feel, but I guess when I go to a diner I prefer a booth, but that is a personal preference. We were promptly sat, and our server was very nice. We ordered two decaf coffees and after being served our coffees ordered our meals, but after we put cream in the coffee and tasted it, the coffee tasted rancid. As if the cream had started to turn, and left a curdled milk taste in our mouths. It was disgusting. At that point we decided to cancel our order and leave. Honestly I felt bad, as the server was super sweet, but if a diner can't make a decent cup of coffee, (I know it's a diner and I am not expecting the best, but I do expect the cream to not be going bad), then I would rather take my business elsewhere. The server said she hoped we would give it another try sometime, and maybe I will because this could have been a fluke, and based on other reviews they seem to have good food, but the small experience we had left a bad taste in my mouth. (Pun intended)

Sometimes the eggs are amazing sometimes they're the worst around. Today worst around. Gotten a hair in eggs and french toast now. This place is a serious gamble. Only close cafe to me. But sick of being disappointed. 👎 Only giving two stars for the few times the eggs were really good.
