So the waitress was friendly and the food was good but the busboy (older man)??? Not sure what happened there. He seemed new as he was walking around lost. Then he comes over and starts talking about his wife and kids. All good UNTIL he comes back talking about his girlfriends and how he likes them rich. It was the strangest thing. He threw in a few swear words and then started with his feeling about Trump. I told him he was getting a bit inappropriate and he asked if we were going to tell a manager on him. I kindly asked if my friend and I could just continue with out conversation and he left. It truly was a bit weird.

Pepe`s was one of the first restaurants we went to when we moved to Woodridge, 29 years ago. The food is fine, the portions are large. Staff is ok. Nice, not efficient. We hadn't been there for several years and decided to go back. I was astounded that nothing had changed in, what, 30 years. The decor is authentic but there is so much of It! It definitely needs some updating.

Jeff and I come here all the time it is like a home away from home. Love the staff and tje food is good too

Love the food, great service too! They even know me by my favorite: Chicken & Bean Burrito Suizo Dinner, a bottle of ketchup (to touch up the salsa sauce) and a pitcher of water. I've been dining there for decades.
