I have never written a review online for anything before, but my experience with Woodrings was so disappointing I felt I needed to share. I ordered flowers to be delivered to my mom on the day of her retirement. I ordered with plenty of advanced time, and expected them to be delivered on Wednesday. My dad was home all day waiting for them, and left around 5:30. He returned home around 6:30 to find a note left at 5:50 saying they tried to deliver and to call them. They called, and no one answered. They close at 6, so leaving a note asking for a call back at 5:50 isn't very good practice. When they decided not to leave the flowers and leave a note instead, I should have been notified that they could not be delivered as ordered. If I would have received a call, I would have told them to leave them at the door. Instead, they took them back to the shop and NEVER notified me. I learned from my parents that they were not delivered as ordered. When I called this morning, I spoke with Mike, who was extremely rude. I was wanting my delivery fee refunded, as they did not deliver or communicate any change in the delivery plans I paid close to $100 for. I shared with him that my parents called (after hours) and the phone rang and rang and rang. He told me this couldn't be true, because he was in the shop until 6:45 and he did not let any calls go unanswered. Instead of being apologetic and understanding of why I might be disappointed, he told me that I in fact was not telling the truth and it was not their problem that they couldn't deliver the flowers. Not only did my mom not get the flowers I ordered for her on her retirement, she had to go pick them up herself today. Truly beyond disappointing. I will never do business here again.

Put together a very nice bouquet within my price range. I was able to pick exactly what I wanted. Flowers stayed nice for a week.

Great service and the flowers are always the best quality. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs flowers in State College.

Meant to post back in February for Valentine's Day. My boyfriend ordered me a huge bouquet in a vase, around $75 USD. He was so angry when I sent him the picture and replied back with a forward email of the flowers he had ordered. It didn't look like the picture at all, and was rather "ugly" looking, sparse, and just a terrible selection and placement of flowers cut at such uneven lengths I had to re-cut them and place them in a smaller vase. If you're going to get flowers here, go in store and don't let them deliver it. Otherwise you'll end up with something you didn't want and you can't ask them to change it because you won't be there and it's a very large inconvenience. I loved them because he got them for me and it really is all about the thought guys, but he was ripped off and that's not okay. I expect service when someone pays for it, not what we received.
