My experience with Dr Woods and his assistant and has been perfect. I recently had a TKR and  every was handled in a caring and professional manner.   Dr Woods supplies a book  describing every aspect of the the surgical procedure and what to expect before, during and after operation.
He has a very caring manner and great patience with any questions you may have.  My husband and I have been his patients  for 14 years and I refer Dr Woods to all my friends.   It has been a pleasure to have such an attentive and responsive doctor.

I am very pleased to be pain free and healed from my hip replacement surgery 7 weeks ago. Dr. Woods more than answered all my questions and concerns regarding this procedure and recovery process. His kind manner, extensive expertise, and friendly office staff made a stressful situation very tolerable. I really appreciated the manual he wrote detailing the entire process, I read the entire booklet that first appointment day, shared it with my husband/family, and referred to the content many times in the following weeks. I highly encourage you to put your trust in him, sooner rather than later, go for the healing now.  Suzanne Walker

Dr Woods performed a total knee replacement for me Aug 28, 2017

He is an extraordinary surgeon and human being.  He has wonderful surgical skills and a very comforting bedside manner.

Before the surgery, Dr Woods explained step by step exactly what was going to happen.  He included me every step of the way.  He answered all of my questions, which were many, with patience and loads of information. On the day of the surgery I felt very prepared not only for the surgery, but also for the rehab that was ahead of me. 

Because of the time he spent with me I went into the surgery completely relaxed in his care.  Additionally during the surgery,,Dr Woods uses various techniques to make the TKR much less painful.

My surgery was so successful that I only spent one night in the hospital.  Within hours the following day I was able to complete all of the exercises that the PT department put me through.  I exceeded everyone’s expectations with my progress and was released from the hospital.  

Most surprisingly, my pain level was very low. I continued my PT at home with my physical therapist without the use of anything stronger than Tylenol!  

I am now almost 4 weeks post-surgery and my recovery is remarkable.  I credit Dr. Woods for my wonderful results.  I recommend him without reservation.

I have gone to Dan Woods for over 20 years, first time was for a torn ligament in my knee, second for a meniscus repair, third  for my daughter's compound fracture of her leg, fourth for my broken ankle, and fifth for my broken arm.  

Yes, the wait is always long but it is worth it.  He is an outstanding doctor and a highly rated professional in the field.  My daughter's leg was so badly broken he had to consult with a trauma specialist in Los Angeles and he had no hesitation doing so.  This is a great doctor!

I paid $225 to sit in a room for an hour to be seen for 2 minutes and told something I already knew: an MRI was the next step. I had to call back later to ask what I should do for now to not make the injury worse and what to do in the days before the MRI. Seriously? $225 for someone to say "yeah your knee needs an MRI"? If I were ever to be charged money for asking someone the time of day it would be from this guy
