We adopted a new dog there and it was a fantastic experience! We met with the foster mom and the adoptions director first and made sure our new baby was a good match for our family. Personally, I couldn't care less if someone who works there is rude like other people said (they weren't). What matters to me is they take amazing care of the animals they take in and work tirelessly to find just the right home. My sweet girl was pulled from a kill shelter in Laurel County!! Not only will I always recommend Woodstock, I will be a regular donator from now on.

I have adopted in Lexington and had a great experience, but louisville branch is a different story. They called to tell my girlfriend we were not able to adopt due to 2 Rottweilers that I owned. I don't own 2 Rottweilers, nor does anyone in my family. We had already waited for nearly two weeks to hear back about our adoption application and louisville treated her like she was a liar when she told the lady that I did not own 2 Rottweilers. Louisvilles response "he's just your boyfriend how much can you really know about him?"...yeah. After this conversation I got a call from my girlfriend, in tears, because instead of the good news we had hoped for she was basically yelled at by an employee for 10 minutes calling her a liar. So I called thinking I could straighten things out. Nope. The lady continued to press the issue of me owning 2 Rottweiler dogs. So I called Lexington location (thank god for them). I found out that a woman in Lexington with the same LAST name but very different FIRST name and ADDRESS owns these dogs. That's right, not under my name or my address, but the same LAST name. Here we were trying to figure out what WE did, and it was HER failure to pay attention to details that got us mistreated by this branch and called liars. This experience, not to mention time and effort to straighten this out, was monumentally frustrating and disappointing. The Lexington location promised to get back with us about adopting, but hasn't. I don't care what job you have or how difficult it may be. You treated potential life long customers poorly because of your failure to do your job efficiently while making others feel small and powerless. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Awesome Vet Clinic!  I used to take my animals to a "regular" vet clinic that was expensive and I lost one of my cats due to the vet and staff not listen to me about he's normal temperament and then taking hours to call me back.  That was when I switched to Woodstock.  The are very cheap, extremely nice, and the vet always treats my 2 dogs and now 1 cat like her own babies.  She is very calming and sweet to them.  Highly recommend Woodstock, whether your rich or poor.

Average facility but AMAZING CARE PROVIDERS  and AFFORDABLE. Wish I had discovered this place earlier.. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. Turned around my entire vet experience.
