This is what I like to call “A 5am gem” My go-to here is a bagel with cream cheese. Nothing fancy, and it’s less than $5! The service is fast and sweet. I don’t expect 5 star quality because it’s an airport cafe, walk away style. With that said, I’ve been there 3 times and they have never disappointed and I’ve never stood in line longer than 5 minutes.
I got the chicken cranberry sandwich. They really pile on the meat! Food came out fast. Sandwich came precut diagonally which I appreciated. It's a chicken salad sandwich. Pretty hard to mess it up. -1 star for flies in the little pastry pantry. Flies are unavoidable but they could do more to keep flies out of there.
5 stars for the freshness and quality of the sandwich, 3 stars for friendliness lack there of of the staff, 4 stars for price pretty spendy, but it’s the airport and speed food came out after ordering about 5 min. The Boulder turkey sandwich was very fresh and good.
Not horrible but nothing special. Normally I only give good reviews but they earned this bad one. I got the chicken salad specialty sandwich with walnuts and cranberries. Sounds so good, right? I think I did taste a walnut but there were no cranberries. My second complaint is the sandwiches were being made fast enough and even piling up. But they wouldn't call any orders as ready. When the crowd got to about 15 or 20 someone finally asked if they could grab their sandwich you know, so they wouldn't miss their plane. The employee answered loudly that they were "busy!" It was so mean I actually chuckled, couldn't believe it. I can tell you none of the crowd will be returning including me and I fly through Denver a lot. Plenty of places to grab decent food quickly.
Possibly the worst way to spend $11 for a breakfast burrito! 50 % potatoes, 40% eggs and 10 % chorizo in a pre made burrito they have setting out in a pile. No green chili and a trace of cheese, pouring salsa on it helped a little.
Breakfast sandie is a good size. They didn’t toast the bagel but otherwise, pretty good. Line was long but got through very quickly.
Mmmm, I like the all paper packaging. They gave me a paper cup that I used in the water bottle filler; because the water fountains are closed. The bagel is soft! Its perfect for a bagel sandwich. I got the BLT on the everything bagel. I was pretty full after eating half of it; that was surprising for airport food It was quick, so quick that i barely took any photos:
The woman at the registerwho I will describe as indian because I did not get her namewas rude; my debit card was not processing and she kept yanking it out of my hand. She then had the audacity to ask if I had money on it, to which I replied, "of course I do!" It never declined, I just think we were not inputting correctly. If i had been thinking I would've walked off right then, but I paid cash. The black woman who was pregnant and calling numbers wasn't any better, she called my number and just left my bag on the counter to be picked up. You would think in an airport where you encounter thousands of diverse people each day, their customer service would be better. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because the sandwich was decent.
There was a crawly worm on my sandwich at the airport location. The contact emails on their website all bounce back. No thanks!
Great turkey sandwich and strong coffee. The bad. Tables where dirty and sticky. Floors need to be swept more often. Windows cover with finger prints. East African employees need to better trained. Best to take sandwich to go.
