Mermaid Bakery provided such amazing service and the most absolutely delicious GLUTEN FREE cake for a graduation! It’s pretty hard to find a bakery that does gluten free, let alone a personalized gluten free cake. The graduate was awestruck over the cake in both decoration & flavor. Half the party didn’t even notice that it was gluten free, it was that good! On top of everything, the service was above and beyond. Diana was super helpful during the consultation! She also was super adaptive during an issue that the venue. Will definitely be a repeat customer!
We planned a destination wedding and chose Mermaids Bakery for the cakes. They were so easy to work with and created exactly what my daughter and her husband wanted for their special dayFood: 4/5
The cake was absolutely beautiful! They went above and beyond for my girlfriend’s birthday cake. Cream cheese icing on a vanilla cake. At 1st they said that that couldn’t do purple cream cheese icing… but when I got the cake they had added some purple icing and purple sprinkles… the pics they printed out on the cake were super clear. The texture of the vanilla cake was only slightly odd, but the icing and cake tasted great! It’s a very heavy, filling cake… definitely worth the $70. I can’t thank them enough. This cake made her day! Thank you guys so much.
My husband and I purchased our wedding cakes from this bakery!! Absolutely delicious!! 10/10 recommend red velvet with cream cheese frosting and signature vanilla with the real fruit raspberry Swiss meringue buttercream filling!Food: 5/5
The best cupcakes ever!! The truest compliment to Jason and Mermaid were that the gluten free dairy free cupcakes we needed to accommodate our allergies were said to be the best cupcakes the wedding guests had ever had!! Jason truly worked with both my allergies and my husband's we are so happy with what we got the cupcakes were amazing!! Thank you!!! I am an out of state bride and we went with Mermaid without tasting the cupcakes and they did not disappoint at all!! Looked great and tasted even better!!
Mermaids Bakery did a fantastic job making our Wedding Cake for our wedding last weekend. Diana and Isabella were so nice and friendly and the cake was delicious. I also really appreciated that they were able to deliver our wedding cake all the way to Lyons. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
I absolutely love this bakery. We have been loyal customers for a few years and have always had a wonderful experience. I’ve ordered their weekly cupcake flavors repeatedly for work events, ive ordered a custom cake for my kid’s birthday, and I have ordered their mini cupcakes. Every order has been perfect. My recent order was for a school fundraiser for my son and the Mermaids team was amazing. They helped me with my phone order, delivered with a smile, and the cupcakes turned out perfect, as it always has. The school faculty all wanted to know where I got the cupcakes. It was a huge hit! I highly recommend ordering very early in the mornings if you’re walking in, or calling in at the beginning of the week to place a call in order. Delivery is also an option if you’re downtown. They sell out fast because the cupcakes are that delicious. Be kind and patient with the team. They will take care of you!
Mermaids have become an integral part of birthday celebrations in our family. Diana always delivers a top-notch product. Excellent gluten free cakes too!Food: 5/5
This place has some of the best frosting that i have ever had. It's not too heavy, it's not too sweet but you know that you are enjoying the sugary goodness of frosting. These cupcakes are extremely messy, do not try to eat in a car! I got the chocolate peanut butter cupcake and the chocolate dream. The chocolate peanut butter cupcake had tasty peanut butter frosting but the cupcake was just a regular chocolate not special about it. The chocolate dream was delicious and I probably should have only gotten this one, things I wish I knew before, but it was most and heavy and had just more flavor packed into the little cake.
I ordered 3 dozen cupcakes for a coworkers birthday and they did not disappoint! Every flavor was delicious and the cupcakes were beautifully made. The German chocolate was a big hit!Food: 5/5
