Don’t let the “tavern” label fool you. They play the type of music you would expect at a night club so loud that it’s hard to talk to the person next to you. I can’t stand that. (and I’m only 28 so I’m no grumpy old man that just hates “kids’ music these days”) The fried food is fine, although the menu is small. They will cook for you very late into the night, so good on them. The drink menu is respectable; lots of in-house cocktails with enough beer and liquor variety to please most people.

Only go here if you want to be completely ignored.  We paid the $8 cover to get in (for two of us), and sat at the bar and waited.... For 18 minutes. The bar was packed and there were only 2 bartenders for the whole place.... One extremely grumpy blond female bartender who obviously didn't want to be there. She kept slamming the credit card machine down (I'm assuming it was pissing her off).  After almost 20 min, she made it out way, asked what I wanted, to which I said a beer and menu. She gave me the beer, halfway through the menu at us and walked off... Leaving my husband standing there drinkless since she didn't bother even asking him what he wanted. I sipped on my beer and after another 10 min of no service or acknowledgement again, we put a $5 down next to the bet and left. Pretty much the most expensive Miller lite I've ever had after paying the cover and $5 for the beer. We will never go back to that place ever again and don't recommend anyone else does either.

I don't normally leave reviews but this place was terrible! They didn't even acknowledge that we walked in, there was 4 couples including us (8 people total) and they never came over to us. We ended up leaving and no one said a word. Won't go back.

Door staff seems to be consistently rude (I remember being treated similarly when I stopped by on St. Pattie's day last year)... I didn't have enough cash to pay the $4 cover for both me and my mom, and she made it sound like a huge pain to put it on a bar tab with credit card. I felt embarrassed and turned around and walked out. Came back in and my mom asked the bar tender if they could put her cover on her tab, which they did and we enjoyed the rest of the evening. To my delight Talia Keys and the Love were playing. (I've seen her play in Salt Lake somewhere and she is a great entertainer/exceptional singer.) My only other note would be that the bar was understaffed for a Saturday night, BT was busting her ass, but it took a while to get a drink.
