Called them before they closed. Called twice. Put me on hold n hung up. And called again. Said okay hold on n then hung up. Very unprofessional and very lazy who doesn't want to work n trying to pay a damn loan. Ridiculous. Once it's paid off. I'll never do business again.

This place, which is located just out side of the ARMY Post, Ft. Hood TX (city of Killeen), is a predatory money lender that targets brand new, incoming, or financially struggling soldiers. This is just one of the MANY predatory money lenders that surround Ft. Hood and every other military installation around the United States. Why so many of these places surrounding our hard working, sacrificing military brothers and sisters you might wonder? Many businesses located around a Post, Base, or Camp, (lenders or not) would essentially seize to exist, or would be a failing business if not for the income that the military pumps into the town or city their duty station is located in. These predatory money lenders 1. Know you get a steady paycheck twice a month. 2. They know soldiers (especially very young ones) just coming in to service don't really make that much money, and a lot of times end up strapped for cash. 3. They know they can charge OUTRAGEOUS interest rates and APRS for what seems like some quick cash. 4. They know you can set up monthly allotments, and know they will get paid straight out of your pay. If you take out a loan, and another finicial situation arises (an emergency etc.) they don't care, and still want their money (which is understandable) but will refuse to work with you to appease both you and their needs until a amicable solution is reached on both ends. They will welcome you with a smile and kindness, but the second you may have trouble paying the loan back, they become nasty, especially the women who work in the front and handle "clients" or "potential clients". Do yourself a favor and stay away from places like World Finance, or any of the other dozens of predatory lenders surrounding your duty station. I am no financial expert, but know much about predators and scams. If you find yourself in a situation where you need extra money, talk to an experienced NCO, Officer, or even your Batalion's Finance (located in your S Shop) and get some advice and other possible ways to appease your financial situation, or have them help point you in the right direction towards another possibility other than borrowing money from a bunch of snakes and vultures just waiting for you to walk right into their front doors and fake warm embrace.
