Story

Wort Hog Brewing Company (WHBC) is a unique brewpub poised to provide a friendly, relaxing, and inviting atmosphere where patrons can sample our product line paired with hors d’oeuvres, purchase our products for home consumption, enjoy the amenities our location can offer, and try their hand at home brewing with the purchase of our patent pending home brewing system.

WHBC will not be your typical brewpub where people have to drive to an industrial district, search for parking, enter leased space, and sample a product line that has been brewed in the rear and served in the front of a converted warehouse. WHBC instead will combine the old world charm of a 1940s auto dealership with a 3000sf brewpub. The brewpub's location within a set of beautiful old buildings with brick walls, high ceilings, and large windows will add to its appeal.

Much improved from when they first opened. I wish they'd kept the brass knuckles IPA on at all times because it's my favorite there. It's a nice big double. They have a nice selection of other beers too now that they've been open for several months.

Coming back from Shenandoah's Old Rag I was thinking; 'If there were only a place that I could just get in, have a cold draft and a good bite' Well we I just couldn't believe it when we got there. The service was excellent since the moment we sat down, the ambience was great, there was a cool vibe that only locals on a Saturday afternoon an give. Just people singing and shaking their heads to the rhythm of the live band downstairs. Beer was great and the brisket with sides. Best choice ever. I'd def come back.

The building and atmosphere are great- the owner(s) clearly care about your experience, and will check in with you. The beers offer a range of flavors, and though I like some better than others, they're all very drinkable! (Cap'n Brunch is my go-to!) Food is being offered now with barbecue and sides, as well as small snack items. So far the patrons have been friendly, the facilities nice and clean, and the staff accommodating. I'm glad we have another great local hangout! UPDATE: They now have growlers and crowlers (cans) available! The patio is partially covered, gives a break from the sun. Great place to hang out!

The staff was very accomodating to my large group of 20 people. The food was GREAT!!! Definitely go to this brewery when in town!

Nicely set-up Brewpub. Very accommodating! Excellent beers. We all enjoyed our visit and will be back, even though it's a distance from home (must bring a DD).
