Beautiful hotel. Great dock area. Fantastic restaurant with lake view. Wonderful waitresses.  Excellent breakfast. Would be perfect if they offered soothing sound machines to shut out traffic noises. But instead had a few drinks and slept well. Pool. Gym. Playground.  Very clean. Very nice desk clerks.

Great place to stay on Lake Guntersville.  Make sure you get a room facing the water.  they have launch ramp and private parking for trailers.  there is a great pool area with corn hole and a small play area for kids.  there is a 3 star restaurant and night/club bar on the opposite side of the rooms in the same building.  food is amazing there.  there is a complementary hot breakfast for guest in the morning.  everything from eggs, grits, bacon, sausage to pancakes.  really a good value for all the amenities.  I love staying there.

Fantastic location overlooking the lake, heated saltwater pool, restaurant on site has delicious food, and the staff is outstanding. The rooms are clean and adequate, but this is an older motel in need of updating. If you're looking for upscale, this may not be for you, but waking up to the lake views (additional expense, but worth it) every morning makes it easy to overlook any other flaws.

Rooms were just ok if you are facing the lake it has a nice view from the window, but rooms were very dirty lots of dust and dirt next to bed and night stand and a quarter inch thick dust and dirt behind bed when I tried to plug in my phone, toenail clippings next to nightstand etc. Several bugs flying around the room as well. Mold and mildew smell was quite bad and after running a.c. and letting room air out it was better but clearly they must allow pet's in the rooms, have moisture problem and don't clean except the main area of the rooms. They do have a decent breakfast each morning.

The rooms could use a good update. The 1st night was horrible. The bed was extremely hard and caused my husband and I days of back pain. There was people smoking outside which made our room smell of smoke. After breakfast the next morning we asked to be moved to a new room and although the room was better it was noisy. This place is more of a noisy motel with a bar/club attached to it. The breakfast wasnt bad at all. Very nice daytime service, night desk clerk could have been a little more sympathetic to our issues. Not worth the $. Parking is bad. If you are getting in late plan on parking far away from ur room.
