Used to love this place. Last couple times I have noticed a huge drop off in quality. 

It's an interesting cuisine and definitely worth going, but at least at the Greenpoint location the quality has dropped. 

I Recently had a lamb cumin burger and the sour spinach dumplings in broth. The dumplings OK. The lamb cumin burger on the other hand was terrible. The bread was extremely stale the filling not as good as usual. I ended up eating half of it and giving up.

Best Chinese noodles in New York. Best Chinese dumplings in New York. Xi'an is worlds apart from other fast casual spots in the city. Quality, handmade, fresh ingredients every day, this place is my go-to for a quick bite at the right price. Spicy, bold, and a rich mix of curry and flavors from Western Chinese cuisine I haven't found anywhere else in Manhattan or Brooklyn. Staff is always friendly and they run like clockwork. This is no-frills, no fuss, no fancy. Just damn fine food and great 90s hip-hop on the sound system to go along with it. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Vegetarian and vegan options available, too.

Great noodles, amazing beef and spicy soup. This is the place to go for cheap, filling food that will warm you up from the core. I left happier than ever. Amazing prices for the quality and amount of food.

I mean, if I could eat here for every meal and not be financially irresponsible, I would. So. Dang. Good. Please go. Please. If you need a reason to go and your own happiness isn’t enough of a reason, then go for me.

Amazing Chinese noodle bowl.  Noodles made fresh in house.  Easy to choose menu with pictures, vegan and vegetarian option.  Wonderful experience, will def be going back
