Yellow Dog Pet Supplies provides all natural grain free dog and cat food as well as USA made collars and leads, toys, greeting cards and unique gifts.

Story

Our dream was to have a store in the Village of Yellow Springs where we currently live. We decided to name it after our Yellow Lab- Sharpei mix "Tater" and call it Yellow Dog. Then he was to be our mascot since he was such a gentle soul and loved all dogs equally. Well, Yellow Springs had "no room at the Inn" and we subsequently lost our friend Tater to cancer. We soon realized that the processed foods at the grocery store had more than likely contributed to Taters' poor health and we determined to feed our next dog, Ivy, a more healthy diet. We researched on line and even traveled to the Global Pet Expo in Orlando Florida to meet the people that make Lotus Pet food in person. We compared all the wonderful dog food choices and were convinced Lotus was the best for our dog and our store. ( This brand is not carried at the big box retailers.) Now we are Yellow Dog Pet Supplies and Gifts in Xenia and we carry grain free, oven baked Lotus brand dog and cat foods because we truly believe in them. We also carry their canned dog and cat food that is hand packed with 100% natural juices and no added water. We know you want a long happy healthy life for your pet and we want that too. As an active members of the local Green Environmental Coalition we also believe in efforts to keep the earth green, therefore our collars, leads and toys are made from recycled water bottles or bicycle inner tubes and tires. In addition, we promote products proudly made in the USA and we have many fun gifts items like tee shirts, mugs and magnets. This is a small but very unique place located inside Blue Jacket Store. Dogs are welcome but because the Tables of Contents Café is also located inside, we ask that all dog visitors be leashed and they should please use the front entrance to visit our store. Take the very first right down the hallway and you will see us on the left. Please stop in and say hello anytime during business hours.
