Always a great indoor shopping experience. Can easily spend a good part of the day shopping, walking, eating, resting, movies ...
Everybody can find something interesting to do here.
Oh yes, the food and coffee shops provide a wide variety of food, family loves to dine.
Deals or sale is always on and we love the brands available here.

Yorkdale seems to me to be in perpetual motion. By this, I mean it is forever under renovation, yet mobs of people flow through this mall on a daily basis. 

For the most part, I think they are evolving the mall in a good direction. The  selection of stores here is impressive, covering a very broad range of products and prices. However, you can certainly see clearly the delineation between the newly freshened areas and those that have not seen any love for quite a few years.

Finally, accessibility is a mixed bag. If you arrive by transit, at least in my experience, that has worked out quite well. If you arrive by car, you may be in for a world of hurt. Although they have expanded parking lot capacity, and provided signage indicating vacancy in some lots, I still find you could drive around for quite some time before landing a good spot. And don't get me started on how long it could take you to get out of the parking lot when things close down.

Had a fantastic visit here today. I found the place to be very easy to navigate because the mall directory shows exactly where you are. I liked the beautiful mix of stores from high end to mid range...all very classy. The customer service is excellent and very helpful. I also like the fact that there are plenty of benches in case you want to sit down and rest your feet.

I will definitely be back

Yorkdale is the place to go when you want to be seen spending lots of money on things you don't need.

Transit access is good. There is a large food court and its close to the cinemas. There are several stand alone restaurants too. The place is generally crowded, but the hallways are large enough that it still feels okay.

The signage for directions is poor. They have good 'you are here' maps; just memorize where you're going. The letters and numbers on the maps appear nowhere else.

It's always nice to shop here. Lots of upscale stores and great places to eat. The architecture is really nice too. Restoration Hardware and The Cheesecake Factory are great! Although.. it can be hard to find parking at times, I still strongly recommend going here.
