Very poor service. They are a rip off. I took my car with an air conditioner problem to them. The owner said I will check the gas in the AC. He charged me $69.00 and didn't fix the AC. He told me that he will diagnose the problem some other time. I called him after few days. He said that he has to run a diagnostic but will charge me for his time even if he couldn't solve the problem. I had a discussion with him. He become angry and return my money which he had charged. In the evening I opened YouTube to find the solution. It was very simple. The rely on the air conditioner was not working. I changed the relay myself. I took it to a shop they charged me 25 dollars to put gas in it. My air conditioner is running very fine after that. As per my experience with these guys I will advise everyone not to go to them, for any car work. They are complete RIP OFFS.

I stumbled across Zapata Auto when my alternator went out and I needed to take my car to the closest place. Little did I know I had discovered, truly, the most honest car people in Madison. I recently had a subsequent repair done for under HALF of what 2 other highly reviewed Madison auto places quoted me at. What Zapata charged me was an extremely fair price, without inflated costs for labor and the part (I was charged at retail.) It was extremely easy to make an appointment and the repair was completed in a timely manner. If you need car repairs or services, please give Hiram and Kelly a call. They are good people only looking for fair business, not to rip you off. Thank you so much! There are still honest people out there!

So happy to be working nearby this great auto service. Everybody was helpful, they were able to fix my car same day, and we're great with communication along the way.  Reasonably priced. My car is running smoothly again. Thanks!

I was recommended to this business via a friend and it was a great decision. I respect their business model and culture and the price was fair. They are busy so you have to be patient, but being busy does say something about the business.

I highly recommend this place. You can trust Hiram. I took my old car to a chain auto repair store first. Their repair estimate was more than the price of my car. Hiram charged me about 1/4th of the other repair shop's estimate and got the job done!
