Genin’s has been providing quality, affordable auto care in Madison, WI since 1992. You can trust us to provide you with an honest quote and to perform the work your car needs with expertise. Our staff is friendly and we are committed to making your car repair experience as simple and painless as possible.

There are many reasons to choose Genin’s over other auto repair shops. We offer service Monday – Saturday and provide loaner vehicle and ride service when needed. We can also handle vehicle pick-up and road service. All of our technicians are ASE-Certified and we use only top quality parts (we are a certified Napa Auto Care Center). For your convenience, our waiting room is equipped with a phone, cable TV and internet service.

We provide the best warranties available. You’ll get a 12-month, unlimited mile in-house warranty and the Napa Auto Care Nationwide warranty. We have a Tread Pros tire warranty as well as optional road hazard tire warranties.

We can handle all of your auto care needs. We perform basic maintenance such as oil & filter change, tire alignment, battery testing and replacement, filters checked and replaced, belts & hoses, tune-ups, check engine lights and vehicle maintenance schedules. Our technicians are also trained in all major and minor auto repairs such as engine work, fuel injection, mufflers, alternators, air conditioning, fuel & water pumps and electrical issues. We also conduct tire sales and service.

Saturday night I frantically looked for anywhere that would take my car Monday morning to fix a slowly deflating tire and was unable to make appointments anywhere. I emailed Genin's and was assured they could get it done Monday morning. Did so quickly and without any difficulties, at a fair price. Thank you so much!

This is the kind of shop you worry about happening across when you come to a new city.  These people don't care about you or your car, the only thing they assess is how much money they think they can get from you.

I took my car in for a run of the mill oil change.  But They found 3 parts that needed to be replaced "as soon as possible" as well as stating that my tires were "completely shredded" and needed to be replaced before winter or I wouldn't be safe, but don't worry, they just happen to have a sale ongoing that ends in a couple days so I have a very short amount of time to decide whether I should give them over 2000 dollars to fix all the things they just found wrong with my car.

I knew something was wrong with their assessment because the tires on my car were less than 9 months old and I hadn't been having any problem with my car.  So I didn't allow them to change anything else about my car.

Instead, I let them perform the oil change as normal and over the past several months have had my car inspected by 3 other organizations that have all confirmed that there's nothing wrong with my tires or anything else that needed to be replaced "as soon as possible".

Don't ever give these people your money.  Don't let them continue to turn a profit by abusing the trust consumers are often required to place in their mechanics.

Imagine two hours before badger Iowa game and you have a flat. It’s Saturday. Genin’s not only came immediately to toe my car, they fixed the tire while I was at the game. To top it off, second tire blew on way to Minnesota game! They saved the day again so I wouldn’t miss anything! I highly recommend GENINS to EVERYONE

Awesome customer service, never experienced before.  My wife's car broke down near Genins and AAA delivered it there, only to realize that the repair was a warranty item, which required a Ford dealer to perform.  I was out of town for work so Genins loaned her a car, no questions asked.  They even offered for her to keep the car during the repair!  We didn't feel right doing that since Genins wasn't even doing the repair so the next day we dropped the car back off.  They refused to take any money for letting us borrow their loaner.  In addition, we left our garage door opener in their car.  They called me regularly for a month, reminding me to pick it up.  They even offered to mail it to me.  Who does that?  Great people.  I highly recommend Genin's Autocare.

I just cannot thank the fantastic staff at Genin's Autocare enough for delivering great service! Keri-Jo was absolutely wonderful to help my father get his Subaru up and running, after 3 different mechanic shops had given up on it. I called around to see if anyone in Madison had experience with complex Subaru issues, and from my first conversation with Keri-Jo, I knew that Dad and I had found the right place. He had been without a vehicle from August to the end of February, and just when we both had begun to give up hope, her knowledge and professionalism absolutely blew me away. Keri-Jo was kind enough to save us a trip to Madison by having us send the paperwork up with the tow, and we were able to get the Subaru in the very next day!  Our driver from KB Towing had great things to say about Genin's as well when he came to pick up the Subaru. He told us that he takes a lot of vehicles to Genin's, even from a considerable distance, and that they do great work. The turnaround time was incredible, and I could never pay enough to see the smile on my Dad's face when he told me that the pesky "Check Engine" light didn't come on again!  The Forester is running like a new car, and the front-to-rear sensor communication is seamless now. No more jerking while driving down the road! Keri-Jo even offered to send a wrecker for the Subaru if by chance anything went wrong on the trip home, which I truly appreciated. Genin's didn't just give us a vehicle back today; they gave a sense of confidence in their skill, a means of getting to and from medical appointments, and a reminder to never give up on the search for the perfect car care team. Thank you Keri-Jo and Genin's, and don't ever underestimate the importance of all that you do. I hope that Keri-Jo gets a huge raise, because she is truly a credit to the business in every way. We will be back, and we will be sure to send our friends and families! Thank you all so much again!
