Went on a day trip from Kitchener to Toronto. Was really excited to get ZenQ, but their staff locked the door on 9:25pm when closing time is 10pm indicated on the door. When trying to talk to a personnel, she told us that they close at 10pm. And we were pretty surprised and indicated that it was only 9:30pm. She then said their last order was way past. Couple people tried getting after us but wasn't able to get in because they're closed.

We just didn't understand the reason they close early but definitely wasn't given a valid reason. In the future, we would still want to try ZenQ, but definitely not this particular one.

I went to have lunch by myself on a Friday since it is close to my work place. The lady who was serving was really rude. 

First she gave me the lunch menu which had some things crossed out, so of course I ordered what was not crossed out. She came to me and grabbed the menu and said that I can't have it since it is crossed out and when she realized she was wrong, she said never mind. She dropped the pencil while doing this and waited for me to pick it up for her and didn't even say thank you. 

Next she gave me a spoon and fork and no chopsticks, assuming I don't know how to use them. I know this isn't a big deal but the utensils are kind of large too use for a bento box, and when I asked her nicely for a pair, she didn't even look at me and pointed the chopsticks in my face. 

Also, I often saw the staff looking at me and speaking to each other in their own language. I don’t mind if they speak in another language, but when you make it obvious that you are speaking about the customer, it makes them feel uncomfortable. 

When it was time to pay I went up to the counter and paid cash. My intention was NOT to tip because she was very rude but when I gave her my money, she went right away and put my change in the tip box without asking and walked away. Tipping is mandatory, I am not obligated to tip, and the staff should know that you can't just take a customer's money for themselves. 

Initially, I was very excited to try this place and become a regular customer, but the staff was very rude and I don't think I will dine-in again.

I have always loved ZenQ food.  This location is just as fantastic and so convenient for me since I work around there.   It opened just when we are in need of a good restaurant for lunch! I especially like their popcorn chicken and yam fries.  The dessert is always fresh and has a good portion.  

I really like how they have lunch special combos.  With a drink added, it only comes to about $10!  The seating is comfortable, service is friendly, the store is decorated with warmth.  At this price and quality, I would definitely go back perhaps even few times a week.

their lunch combo is very affordable. And you get a great portion and variety of food. I would highly recommend this place! their lunch combo also allows you to choose a drink for 1 dollar more.

Great Korean pan Asian cuisine and dessert place. Service is good and prices are reasonable. Restaurant is quite busy on weekends and there's limited seating.
