Tasty vegetarian food, excellent espresso, really good tea (The Art of the Tea), and amazing pastries. There are two sides to the house, one serves meals (order at the counter); the other side serves drinks, pastries, and a selection of take-out foods. The eating area is outside on the patio, which is well shaded by umbrellas and quiet. Location is handy to shops and the beach, with plenty of on-street parking as well as parking lots nearby. Highly recommended.

Love love love the French toast. Looks dry from the outside, but once you cut it... Oh men.... absolutely delicious. And the cold oatmeal amassing as well.

Price: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Environment: 1/5 Since Zinc Cafe is one of the few places in the area that will allow you to bring your dog onto the patio, we thought we'd check it out - not realizing firstly that this is a vegetarian cafe with eggs and tofu being the main protein sources in each meal, and secondly that the patio is crowded with other people's dogs. When we first arrived, there were only three dogs (including ours) on the patio, however by the time we left, the patio was packed with so many dogs that the barking and constant interaction between the animals made it very difficult to eat or even carry on a conversation as we were constantly needing to watch out for other dogs approaching ours. The other major issue with this place is the washroom. There's only one single-person washroom available for both the cafe and the market, meaning that there is always a lineup. For a place that is built to serve probably around 100 people, there NEED to be more washrooms available. The food here is alright, probably excellent if you're a vegetarian... which I am not. The price for the food is fair. Overall I wouldn't return here only because I don't like having to constantly watch out for other people's animals and standing in line to wash my hands so I can eat is not pleasant.

THE go to place in Laguna for breakfast. Avo toast is legendary. French press is excellent.

Healthy yummy food in a relaxing setting outdoors. Can get busy but i always seem to be able to find a table.
