We used Zippy Shell while we were between houses and needed our furniture stored. Customer service has been amazing, we got a really good deal. They were able to drop off our first trailer, and get the second one while the movers loaded our first. Very easy to use, and flexible with our timing. I would definitely recommend them!

I can't rate this company on their moving or storage but their driving is terrible and dangerous!! I just saw a white truck with a zippy shell being towed and the truck driving at least 70 miles down Colorado Blvd and Yale at 4:45pm on Monday August 15, 2016. The dude driving must have been in a hurry to get somewhere because he wasn't slowing down for any car in his way. There is no excuse for reckless driving and for that I would not ever use or recommend this company.

We really wanted to help out a local business and went with Zippy Shell over the much more well known PODS. The price was comparable with our negotiated discount since we were renting three units. This is a new company so there are certainly some bugs that need to be worked out. Because we were getting three units, we had to be extremely flexible in delivery and pick up of units since they have limited trailers for delivery. To the extent that we had one unit delivered on each weekend for three consecutive weeks. While this was inconvenient, it worked out okay. Each week the unit arrived early in the morning as described and was always picked up promptly. The units were clean and easy to load. We ended up storing our personal items for a total of three months. During the day of our move we had to continue to be flexible. The first unit was delivered the night before they moved and then the following two were delivered the following day. Because one unit had to be picked up, taken back to the warehouse, and another one delivered we were forced to pay our movers for almost an hour while they sat around and waited for the next trailer to be delivered. We asked the trailer to be removed same day and driver kindly agreed. Our personal belongings were kept in good condition and once again, unloading was a breeze. One other challenge we had was with billing. For the entire three months our card was billed incorrectly. Each time my husband would call and leave a message and they would issue an appropriate credit. They also continued to charge us after we were no longer using their storage units. After two weeks of trying to contact them and leaving messages, we have now resolved all billing issues and have received appropriate credit. Overall I think our challenges are related to this business being new and getting some bugs worked out. The owners are friendly and I don't believe any of our billing problems were intentional. Just not worth the hassle.

We had a great experience using Zippy Shell. We rented a unit, then needed another at the last minute on Labor Day weekend and Zippy Shell was able to deliver. They were extremely flexible when I needed it and the units were excellent. I give them my highest recommendation.

Great way to store our furniture between moves! Zippy Shells were very flexible and responsive, working with us and our mover's schedules. Nice job!
