ZIPS started out as eight separate dry cleaners in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. area. In 2002, the stores united with the goal of providing a revolutionary dry cleaning experience that maintains high-quality services at one low price, for any garment.
Since then, we’ve expanded to over 50 locations across the country and have cleaned over 20 million garments for more than 500,000 customers. Our “In by 9, Out by 5” pledge promises same-day service without wavering on quality service. In fact, our quality is the same as that of full-price dry cleaners, but at a cost of less than 50% of the national average. All services are prepaid so you can ZIP in and ZIP out when you pick up your clothes. We’re a win for your clothes and your wallet.

I definitely understand why this place has mixed reviews. The first two times I came in it was awesome. Staff at the cash register, quick-service and friendly seevice and my clothes were ready fast looking good right on time. The last two times I came in to drop off clothes between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. the line was so long, as there was only one person working the register, I left and walked four or five 5 doors down "regular cleaners". They also have one day service and the price was the same. This particular zips lacks consistency and personality. I do not think I will be coming back.

I have visited there one time to get a suit cleaned. The customer service was very nice, in the suit came out great. I will go back again.

DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY! My experience here was terrible. After the cashier charged my card he tells me the clothes will be ready in one week. After I tell him I need them in three days, and I would like to cancel the transaction, he insist they'll be ready in that time, and to not cancel transaction. I called three days later, and not only had they misplaced my items, but would not refund me for the transaction because they said from there end there was no record of it in their system even with a bank statement showing they charged me.  This location and it's leadership have no concept of what a customer is, and that they are providing a service to you that you're paying for. So unless you feel like losing $20 buck for charity, I wouldn't go!

Ruin my dress, brought dress in early on Saturday was not ready at 5pm had to wait  until Monday. Know one every explain that the dress had color bleed problem. Couldn't tell that was the problem until I got the dress home, the lighting in the store is very poor. So be aware if they ever need more time to clean a garment it because damage has occurred. I will return to the location I used before go to this location even though it not as close to my home. STAFF AT HECHNINGER MALL VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DECEITFUL!

Not any good experience for the 4 times that I've been here. It was only 4 times because of the multiple returns I had to go back and pick up.  While picking up and inspecting my clothes, (11 items)  I noticed that it was some scattered dark colored spots on each item.  The lady told me that it could've been something that was on the machine they use and that it should come right off, but she will request for it to be re cleaned. Another customer while inspecting their items had the same exact colored spots and was furious as it was on her white and light shirts.  That's when I came to my white pants and OMG! I was disturbed and angry. Those spots were on my clothes and my dark colored clothes were now faded. I had too many items, and they could not fix my clothing.  Every time they tried re cleaning the spots, more spots appeared. My clothes became more faded and I left upset and angry with my items and never returned. I wouldn't go there for a simple stitching.
