I'm from New Jersey, the diner capital of the US, and I absolutely love a good diner- and Zoe's is just mediocre. First, service was a bit surly. Not a big deal if the food is great, however this place serves pretty so-so food. The trio of Greek dips appetizer was appallingly bad, and I would not recommend it at all. All three dips were utterly bland and we left it mostly untouched. The saving grace was my cheese steak wrap which was simply okay. It tasted fine, though was dry and the meat was a noticeably gristly. Honestly, three stars is fair, and maybe even generous.

My girlfriend and I recently went here for breakfast. As other reviews have stated, the service isn’t as cheery as they could be, but that’s not a big detractor for us. It did take about 25 minutes to get our breakfast, but the food was very good. Zoe’s has some of the more reasonable prices that you’ll find in the Harvard Square area

The food was good, pretty typical breakfast food. Everything was reasonably priced and the service was very attentive. We went on a Saturday morning and had no trouble getting a table, which was great.

First one star review for me. Stood next to the please wait to be seated sign, made eye contact with every server and not a single one acknowledged or motioned for someone to come and seat us. A lady folding napkins finally got up, asked if we wanted a table and said it'll be a moment, before sitting back down and doing nothing.

Tasty (if not standard) diner fare. Breakfasty foods cooked properly.
