I guess because I'm black I'm automatically going to steal... I don't appreciate the associate following me around as soon as I enter the store.....

I am a long time customer of Zury and will no longer ever support the business as I listened to one of the female workers speak horribly about 2 black young ladies after they left. One worker was frustrated that they kept asking to try on wigs and insisted "she could smell they didn't even have $5 in their pockets but want $50 hair." I wasn't there for that full exchange to fully judge so I ignored and continued on what I came for. The other worker began to follow me but seemed polite enough in asking if I needed assistance until it came time to check out. I paid with a credit card from Chase when my purchase went through without a pin she said "oh it's a credit card I thought it would have been a debit." At that point I had enough. It was too late to return the items bc it's store credit only but I advised the worker that I "have more than $5" to afford having a credit card and never had any intentions of stealing out of her store. I spend tons of money there and refer my clients there also but this would be my last time ever stepping foot inside there again. Shocked that I was aware of her game she insisted that she was not following me but doing inventory. So not only are they racists but a liar. No thank you. I will take my business to Oprah beauty right down the block who NEVER have given me issues or made me feel uncomfortable.

They are always helpful at the Zury on Williams in Kenner...thanks for all you do.
