We stopped here summer 2015. Kinda stumbled on it. We drive a class A Motor Home pulling an F150 extended. Plenty of room at the sight. Beautiful view. Close to Watertown. Loved it.

The campground was very well kept up considering the weather problems they must of had ( Lake Ontario 2.5 feet high) when we got there we had truck problems and had to extend our stay. they were very accommodating then one of the Locks on our trailer jam and the staff went out o their way to try to help. We did not use the showers so I can't say how they were. The pool was out of order the first do to the weather condition this year. one night they live entertainment that was very good. I would stay here again.

we love the lakeside sites..prefer the Henderson side, usually calmer, less wind. Interior sites look sloppy, this KOA needs some grounds maintenance. Marina is great, island is easy to get to and a nice ride in off 3. plenty of staff day and evening, owner seems nice enough. no beach, but swimming is easily accessible, and there is a pool for non lakeside campers without lakeside access. plenty of trees on lakeside sites, interior have few...so much potential here, more than most campgrounds could dream of. Facilities we used although older, seemed clean enough. We will be back. the area offers a lot in terms of using the water, and Robert G Wehle state park and the Limestone cliffs are a mile away..a must see while here. not 4 or 5 stars because the interior non lakeside sights that don't have lake access don't offer more than any other state park with a marina.Also with a high number of seasonal rentals occupying many and most prime sites, the campground has a different vibe to it. Side note... bring all you need, as grocery store, or liquor store are not just " up the road".. camp store is just for what you forgot, as it's small and not robust.

We liked it alright. I'm sure it would have been better if the water level wasn't so high. The pool was closed for 2 days, so no swimming. Other than that the owners are nice people and we still had fun. Loved the band on Saturday night

Love this place! We made this a priority to go back at least once a year. Has everything we need and some :) Beautiful view in any direction.. Clean, Friendly & big lots.
