This is a great pub and grill, the Bang Bang Shrimp is the perfect starter along with their Pretzel Bites. I really enjoyed the pot roast sandwich and B.L.T., the B.L.T. was huge and filling. Their burgers are just as good if not better, their special house blend makes takes the burger to the next level compared to other burgers in the area. Our waitress Josephine was very polite and made sure our glasses were always filled. 18 West’s ambiance is that of a bar and grill that you may find in Old Town or Bucktown, but still has that neighborhood feel. I have recommended 18 West to co-workers in the area and they were just as happy with their experience.

This place has been on my radar since its opened. My girlfriend and I went there on a friday for dinner. Walking up to the place and it looks very upscale but once we walked in I was a little lost no one was there to greet me, the bartender saw the lost look on my face and told me to sit down anywhere. After a few steps we where greeted by a man (looked like the owner) and he sat us in the back room. We sat there for about a minute without menus before he realized we didn't have any. After looking at the menu, I realized that this place was more of a casual modern family restaurant. Everything the the menu looked good. We had the jalapeno poppers as an app, not a fan. The filling tasted spoiled. I had the wings as my main dish and they where good. I had them with the buffalo and Asian sauce. My girlfriend had the chicken sandwich which also tasted really good. Overall this place was a okay, I'm all for supporting local businesses. However, if I was greeted when I first walked in and if the jalapeno poppers didn't taste rotten I would have gave this place 5 stars.

Had the OCB burger cooked to perfection and also the pretzel bites with the delicious sauce. Michelle our server was awesome and the atmosphere is great.

Finally a spot in town that offers a cool atmosphere and decent outdoor seating. More of an adult setting, which is good since there are plenty of family places nearby. I tried the spicy Diaz Brothers burger. It was great! Fresh cut fries always a plus. Definitely a new favorite spot and also looking at having a family party there soon.

Very nice and friendly bartender. Made us feel at home and she invited us to their Christmas party.
