A Family Tradition Since 1930
Russell’s Barbecue has been a family favorite since its opening in 1930. Located in the Chicago suburb of Elmwood Park, Russell’s has a nostalgic charm and rich history that have united generations of families for over 85 years. Our classic barbecue beef, pork, and ham sandwiches and unique coleslaw are cooked with the same ingredients and in the same way as they were in 1930. Taking a bite is truly like taking a step back in time. In 2010, we started authentic pit smoked barbecue which includes smoked brisket, pulled pork, and pulled chicken. After being covered in our signature blend of spices, we smoke our meats with hardwood for over 16 hours to perfection. In addition, we offer a variety of homemade soups, fresh salads, appetizers, and various sandwiches to please every customer! Our relaxed, family-centered atmosphere, vast menu, and accommodating staff make Russell’s a great place to dine 365 days out of the year. We would love to see you soon!
