Story

20byNine is a casual, upscale bar-restaurant primarily focused on craft beer, small batch whiskey selection, and as locally sourced as possible small-plate food.

We provide casual and friendly customer service. Our staff is friendly, recognize and appreciate customer loyalty, and also will provide for you an environment where you feel comfortable to learn more about craft beer and food pairing. Come share a meal with friends and family.

The 20byNine philosophy is centered on craftsmanship, quality, and community.

1. Craftsmanship: To us, craftsmanship means a departure from our rush to modernization, where we know less about the ‘who, what, where’ of our food and drink production. By focusing on American craft beer and whiskey, as well as food sourced as locally as possible, 20byNine intends to contribute to a mindful return to the craft of good food and good drink.

2. Quality: From true craftsmanship, we expect high quality. At 20byNine, we are choosing quality over quantity. The beer and whiskey list, as well as food, maintain a focus on quality ingredients and production. Everything in house is made with love, by hand.

3. Community: Our commitment to community is two-fold: first, in line with craftsmanship and quality, we are committed to local, sustainable sourcing of beer, whiskey, and ingredients; second, at 20byNine we hope to develop a strong link with our Martha’s Vineyard community to become a gathering place where our customers’ experience is priority and they can relax, enjoy, and feel a part of the larger community.
