Is there a zero to rate this club? Here from out of town. Called about a specific Body Pump class on a Sunday. They confirmed the day and time. Arrived early as I was not certain about the location and I was walking. There was a class before ours already in the room. I waited outside the room to set up Body Pump. While waiting I walked 20 min on a treadmill a few feet from outside the room. The previous class ran late so we were we all delayed and late to set up our equipment for the Body Pump class. 20 minutes after the Body Pump class was supposed to start they cancelled the class. Evidently the instructor ‘ went to the wrong club location’. I asked Nicole ,who claimed she was the manager, for a refund. She told me since I had been there over an hour ( waiting for the class before ours to finish and it finished late and waiting for our instructor to show up for the Body Pump class,for 20 minutes before they cancelled class took 40 minutes of the total time I was there ,plus 20 min on a treadmill while waiting) there would be no refund. She considered this “as using the facilities “ I asked for 1/2 the fee back since I did not get to take the class I specifically came for and she refused. Also asked for a pass for another day or time, she refused. What a rip off. Don’t go there....I certainly won’t and I’m making sure anyone I know who lives here or visits here does not step one foot in this club. Awful management and poor customer service.

This location is complete trash now. Look at all the people who are talking about the same cleanliness and maintenance issues. Then look at all the 5-star ratings that have zero comments and reek of fake reviews (profiles with a single rating). You decide who to trust. If you're traveling for work and need a gym, go elsewhere. Don't be fooled by the "Ultra" label. This place is worse than random "Active" locations in small towns. The ONLY reason to come here is if you're on ClassPass and just need a cheap open gym session and live next door. It's so empty most of the time that I could sleep in this place. Water pressure in the men's showers are horrible. You see people constantly trying to turn on each one of the showers until they resign to taking what's offered. The men's locker room literally smells like someone took a dump in the corner. To make matters worse, the original perks of this place—great top floor views at the Broadway/Houston junction—are no longer available to members. The 3rd floor used to have amazing views on the western side, but that has completely be remodeled into a filming studio for Daily Burn. All the windows that are facing Houston are already facing a new brick wall as a new building gets put up. Either put this place out of its misery or do something about it. 24 Hour Members seriously deserve a better NYC location downtown.

The gym itself is good and has everything you need for a good workout. The elevator is always broken and the stairs are sketchy and seem unstable, but my big problem was I work out very early in the morning and there was always a man sleeping on the ground in the work out studio! He was in there almost every morning and would scare me some times bc he would be in a dark corner and I wouldn’t notice him right away. He keeps a locker full of clothes and toiletries in the studio too. I told the staff about it several times and they would brush me off and not do anything about it... pro tip: if you’re a woman going to work out early in the morning by yourself - avoid the studio. Maybe avoid this gym altogether, there are better options

Totally crowded and compact gym. Very tidy place. Locker room smells so much nasty. May be only the mens locker room. Good quality equipment. No swimming pool. Friendly staff

This gym is seriously going downhill. They made it smaller, it feels cluttered now, various machines are "out of order" and they dont seem to take any steps to address any of this. Used to be such a positive vibe here but not so much now.
