This was a fantastic experience. We we're lucky to have a night with a cool breeze coming off the river. The food from appetizers to entree to dessert was flawless. One of the best steaks I have had in a very long time. Wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Great job 26!

26 West is a contemporary, seafood-centric restaurant located in Red Bank serving New American cuisine in an open, airy, nautical environment. Situated on the Navesink River, the riverfront backdrop showcases gorgeous water views. Since having first opened, the restaurant has envolved into a top-notch fine dining destination with the quality of their service on par with that of their dishes. I can speak on several items from their menu including the mussels, lobster bisque, crab cake, shrimp cocktail and octopus salad all of which are delicious, the most extraordinary being the the octopus grilled to perfection served over a pea purée alongside tricolor potatoes. We continue to return to 26 West for their cuisine, ambiance and service.

We went there on Wed night. The dining room was under construction. That did not take away from the evening. The food was amazing, on the expensive but fantastic. I had duck. omg so good I can't wait to go back again. The manager knew everything about the wine list and then some. We closed the place down. Our waiter kept saying no rush. It was a 10 plus.

My fiancé and I stopped in after a bar tender off duty suggested it to us down the street. He did not steer us wrong! Best lobster bisque ever, lobster was fresh and not rubbery or dry. He got fresh shrimp cocktail. Then we got the demonic steak with pesto, amazing! Juicy and delicious! I split it with My fiancé who ordered the crab cake (he also split half with me). Don’t let the size fool you, freshly made, wine sauce to die for, there are no words. It’s been a long time since we went out and enjoyed every single bite! Clean, calm vibe, waiter was very nice! I didn’t know which wine I wanted so he got me a sample. Pacing was perfect, not ruched at all. Worth every penny and we will certainly be back!

A bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. Very nice atmosphere, great mixed drinks, good draft list, pleasant staff, and the food was fantastic. Check their weekly specials, cause some make this place extremely well priced for an overall great meal. Great date night spot!
