Discover Birravino, a new way of meeting, eating and drinking Italian.
Will be opening in Red Bank, New Jersey, the first week of September 2014. Birravino will be located at 183 Riverside Avenue in Red Bank in an open, Industrial-era inspired space.
Birravino is a new restaurant concept created by Vic Rallo, host of Eat! Drink! Italy! on Create TV. Over the past 10 years, Vic has been fortunate enough to travel to Italy more than 20 times, discovering the delicious food, wine and culture of the Italian people. During his journeys, Vic has cooked and eaten in both obscure and off-the-beaten path Italian kitchens, as well as restaurants run by famous Michelin starred chefs. These experiences have encouraged Vic to share his passion.
His passion drives the concept behind Birravino. It is the notion of materia prima; the prime ingredient. In Italy, each item on the table is very important to the dining experience. Birravino will bring materia prima to each of its tables in Red Bank, New Jersey. The menu will consist of smaller portions similar to those found in Italy, allowing customers to experience more of the flavors of Italy at a very reasonable price.
The Birravino wine list will consist of over 100 selections from the major wine producing regions of Italy. It is Vic’s belief that wine should be on every table as it is in Italy. All of the wines at Birravino will be all priced under $50 per bottle.
In 2013 the United States became the #1 wine consuming country in the world. As with wine, the United States has always been one of the top beer consuming countries in the world. Today, the focus has shifted to micro-brewed craft beers. Birravino will make three beers on premise: Vulture, a light wheat beer; Etna, an amber ale; and Vesuvio, a traditional golden IPA. To accompany these, will be two craft beers on tap, as well as a variety of craft beers by the bottle.
