I've been in this place and got gas here once or twice, and it's been an okay experience. However, I am astonished by two primary things not directly related to getting gas: #1 - There are some seriously sketchy-looking characters that loiter here every time I drive by, considering the establishment is in Deer Valley Towne Center where otherwise there is literally no sign of sketchy folk, illegal activity or loitering any place else on the block. Comparably, it's almost as if someone dropped a gas station from downtown Phoenix out of the sky into a gated neighborhood and commerce area. It doesn't fit. #2 - I didn't feel SAFE driving through the parking lot of this gas station as I left the AMC down the block (and I am a big white guy!). I felt there was enough weirdness happening at this establishment to believe it possible that someone might come at me in my car as I drove by. Why do I say all this? Because I always feel safe and protected in public - I am a big, tall white dude. The fact that I didn't feel safe in this scenario should be a red flag to anyone else. It's no surprise the overall review here is 1.9 stars. It is truly an enigma that Deer Valley Towne Center is a nice area with this odd little gas stop on the corner where you wouldn't suspect something totally different and unsettling. No matter what I've missed here, not feeling safe in or near a place of business is a SERIOUS red flag for a big dude like me. I will steer friends and family clear of this gas station. Sorry to sound harsh, but if safety feels like a potential concern for ME, then it should be for everyone else.

They have a male clerk that likes you get in customers faces and threaten women. 2 different times I have seen him get into someone's face scream, threaten and make coments on there size,age and race. I have seen him rip food and a drink out of a little girls hands because her mom would respond to his sexual advances about what her service dog serviced her and how. The mom told him it's against the law for him to ask and demand what the dog is used for other than a service dog and why she needed one. Because of that he points at a sign and days he has the right to refuse service to anyone. She talked to the owner about this and he apologized. She was in the store again tonight. He physically put her hands on her and threaten her with cops for theft saying it would be her word verse his. He wouldn't take her money. He did all this in front of other customer's as well as her to little kids. This jackass is getting brave and thinks he is better than paying customers. I hope the owner sees this. He going to end up on the wrong side of a law suite and possibly worse. This guy is going to poke the wrong bear and it just might bite back. The 3 lady's working there just ignore you when your trying to pay. To busy with Facebook and texting there friends. If I was you I would avoid this place like the plague.

I only go in to this 7-eleven if I absolutely have to. Their fountain drinks are way over priced and there is always a steady stream of transients in and out at all hours of the day. Last time I went in there the clerk spent the whole time watching a youtube video while ringing me up. Never looked up from his phone.

Always fast friendly service and one of the cheapest places I've found for gas especially so close to the freeway
