Zero* $19.95 Date of occurrence 07/20/22. This store sux, I've had more than one small bad experience in this store over a 3 yr. period as a local shopper, being in petty cash or rudeness by the female owner not the husband, but this is the one I'm going to complain about, should have done so in the past! First of all let me say the young man with the long hair didn't get his name at the time that was doing his very best to help me & he had nothing to do with this problem as the owner was blaming & yelling @ him before she knew what was going on. With customers in the store @ the time, She then proceeded to try to yell @ me to be quiet as well! That was it! I told her YOU SHUT UP! I'm the customer & we are always right unless proven otherwise. Let me get to the point! Bottom line is the $19.95 purchase I made was double charged 1 on mobile check out that wasn't functioning properly and then I proceeded to pay at the cash register with c.c. when I went to the exit door I realized I was double charged and the owner simply refused to refund me my money with recept proof right then and there. I then asked to take the products that I purchased again and I was then also refused so this took the complaint right to corporate. Yup! You bet the district Mgr.will be visiting soon to rectify the situation as well. All this over a $19.95 refund purchase, seriously! To the female owner! Make sure you thank me for my not so nice review like you do with nice reviews or prove it otherwise with corporate.
I'm so shocked by the few negative reviews for this location. I don't think it's fair to judge or rate an entire business by one inconvenient experience when you've had hundreds of positive experiences at the same location prior to that. Who would want to be judged as person on their worst day? I've been coming to this 7-Eleven for years and I've always left happy and got what I came in for. The owner is wonderful and so is the staff. The owner/staff always has a smile and kind word and the store is kept clean, stocked and is rarely, if ever, out of anything. Also, before complaining, it's important to remember you're shopping at a 7-Eleven, which is a convenience store. It's not a grocery store and doesn't claim to be. Be fair before you denigrate a business because YOU had a bad day. This is great 7-Eleven and I'll happily continue visiting this location daily!
Not open 24 hours!! Just tried to stop by at 11:30pm on Friday night and the doors were locked, lights were off and milk crates were stacked waist high in front of the door.
Absolutely disgusted. Went into the store to purchase the same thing I always do: a bagel and ice tea. Well found out the underside and the middle of the bagel had mold growing on it. Took the bagel back to the store, to see if I could get a refund for it and make the staff of one person aware that the product, was definitely well past a sell by date which they don’t have listed on the packaging. The sales associate then proceeded to tell myself that it’s not his fault, it’s whoever owns the stores fault. And, it took quite of bit of convincing to get a refund for the bagel, because he just kept saying I could take another one for free.
This store is newly renovated and very nice.
This store is supposed to be 24 hours but they close in the early morning. It should not be listed as a 24 hour convenience store.
if i could give no stars i would.....they refused to honor an in store advertised price...last time i checked businesses are required by law to honor advertised prices,and not only that the cashier was quite rude about it...i have been going to this store since it opened and i am a lindenhurst resident for 20 plus years,suffice it to say i will never visit this store again
