Love love love this place. Great pay for a clean and spacious place. The heater was on when I got there. There is a small kitchenette and full size fridge. Flat screen TV with all the cable channels you want. Definitely cheaper than the competitors in the area. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a great little hidden gem. And independently owned. The owners are super nice and accommodating, too. The rooms are very clean and very updated. Ours had almost a totally new kitchen with cook top, fridge, small coffee maker and microwave. The bathroom, although rather small, looked brand new! All updated with tile walls, shower and pedistal sink. Don't let the outside older style of this place fool you. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Very nice pool, too. (Liz, the owner, even left a few fresh baked scones for us in our room!) Close to the beach, but off the beaten path to where it's quiet. I'd rather stay here than any of the company owned hotels in the area. If you're unsure, ask for a tour. I'm sure they'd be happy to show you around!

Came from daytona and needed a place to stay while visiting my brother. It was total chance that i came by the 88 motel.just a stone throw away from some swell italian food, chinese , and other foods jersey is noted for...accommidations had all the ammenities as the big hotels at half the price..owner managed by liz and ken..and clean as a whistle...5 stars easy.

We love to come back to this clean, conveniently located place, reasonable prices, close to shops and around $12.50 uber to boardwalk, host is super nice and sweet lady. Has little kitchen with stove, microvawe, refrigerator, glasses, utencils.... Always clean and welcoming. Often available since there is no online reservations, good to know in case you need a place last minute and everything else is booked up or overpriced.

This place is awesome. Ken and Liz are great people and I came here for one night and decided to add 7 more nights while working in the area because of the hospitality and the great room that I was in. The cable TV and Internet was great and the room was very clean and updated. Much better than a lot of the motel chains that are out there. Price was better too because they offer a weekly rate.
