Just not a good choice for the off season at least. Called to book a room for December was told they would leave the door unlocked and key in the room...not used to that. Room was ice cold on arrival, furniture consisted of a folding chair, patio tea table and one matching chair. The bed was very very soft and hard on our backs. The deal breaker were the couple of cockroaches in the bathroom. It did look like they were trying to make it nice.

Been coming here since it was called the Colonial Inn. Nice rooms, five minute walk to the boardwalk, and a great continental breakfast. I've enjoyed each one of my stays here, great way to wake up to the summer sun.

The best family-owned Motel! I found this hiding Gem on Trip Advisor. I was so happy to read the great reviews and see it for myself, when I arrive that the pictures online are 100% accurate. This Motel feels like you're staying at a beach house, everything is updated with new furniture in each room. It's well maintenance and very clean. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. When I called I spoke to a very friendly woman name Ann, she was the one who booked my room. My husband and I just wanted to stay for one night. We enjoyed our stay so much we didn't want to leave. After checking out the next morning, Ann convinced us to stay another night. My husband and I had a relaxing and quiet weekend with our newborn babygirl at the Pelican Point Motel. We received great help from Dawn, Teresa and especially Ann. I'm glad we listen to her and stayed another night. What I love about this place is that we do not feel like a guest, but like family and we cannot wait to go back!

Fine room for a night. Cable cut out constantly. Wish the heat and fridge was on before check in.

The room had an AC unit that seemed to not work properly. The buttons were not working until it was pressed 10 times or more. The heater had a strong smell of burning metal/aluminum. The room was very cozy and bathroom feels like a bathroom from home. Pool was cold, but there.
