Very nice room & clean... I did have a problem that they didn't have a microwave in the room but they did have microwave on the property which that made it a little better but I definitely would have preferred it being in the room cuz sometimes I might want to eat something and it's late at night I don't want to be going outside to another area just to heat up my food and I wasn't that crazy about in the office they asking me what brings me here I don't think it's any of their business so why I'm here I'm paying them the money it shouldn't be their business or what I do and here as long as I'm not doing anything illegal I just found that kind of odd that for him to ask what brings me here other than that it was a decent room I did have a pleasant stay

The room was small but nice enough. Staff was fine. But could be slightly nicer. We had a good time and no problems.

Older motel is convenient to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. It is clean and reasonably priced.

I went down there for the beach for a mini vacation, two nights, and it was a good price considering the time. I also went down there because there was a concert I was going to the Monday after we checked out, but the only complaints I would have, is for the room that I had, a queen bed sjould have a bigger room, but it was alright. I've had bigger rooms for queen size beds, etc. The other thing concerns future upgrade their showers and their bathrooms. The door I had for the bathroom didn't lock, you could easily push it open (it didn't bother me too bad because I lock all the door behind me in any place that's not my own), but the shower itself wasn't high up enough, so the water came around the curve, and the water went onto the floor when you showered. Due to that, I had to put towels down to make sure it didn't get wet so you wouldn't slip. The showers are a bit small in general, two people it is hard, but managable. I'm not sure if it was because of the front room in the corner (that was my located room,) if that was the reason why the shower small I'm not sure if the other rooms have the same issue, but even so some of the rooms if that's the case should have an update or upgrade of certain things.

Overall, the experience was great,  no problem with the staff, they were helpful, friendly, and received no problems. I was surprised considering I never stayed in a place near the shore. I heard bad things, but this place deserves it 4/5 or 5/5, aside from the minor inconvience of the size of the bathroom, and the minifridge being run down a tad. It was still cold, and was helpful.

In seagirt, where this lodges is located, there's great food places all the way around, it's in good distance of some activities you can do and it's not far from Point Pleasant, or any of the beaches. At most, 30 mins is the most I traveled to the beach. I'd recommend this place out of all the ones that I know in the area to anybody else.

Quaint old timey feel and reasonably price.  Personnel were nice and friendly.
