I have been going to A1 Comics for about 16 years now. Since I was a child. It is a major player in my interests. I still frequent their locations for my Magic The Gathering needs. Prices are usually solid and the sale days are always welcome. Great store for the community and they do a lot of charity/fundraiser events with organizations.

It's a great place with room to play games. It's pretty well stocked and anything they don't have, they're more than willing to order it for you. I also enjoy the special order subscriptions, so anything I am interested in will get ordered and I'll be notified when it comes in. It's perfect.

Had a bundle of comics in my hand at the checkout. At least four employees there. Another couple was ahead of me and we were not even acknowledged. The employees were to busy with themselves apparently. I waited five minutes, generously put the comics back and left. The two star rating is for the size of the store and selection. The employees suck.

My husband and I come here pretty regularly to get mini's and dice sets for D&D. There is a great selection at reasonable prices and the staff is very knowledgeable. My husband also consistently manages to find D&D books that are hard to find or rare.

If I lived in CA, A-1 Comics would be my go-to place. Their comics selection, new and back issues, was excellent. Even better, for me, as the fact that they have a huge selection of older RPGs. I found some true gems as I explored. They also have new RPGs, boardgames, and collectibles. All in all, a great experience.
