Definitely not professional by any means. No communication between the owner and clients. As a former sub i could not do work for this company anymore. The lack of applicable construction knowledge, scheduling, and communication from the owner was astounding. These people create a business by subbing out work and never having had a career in construction before, not knowing how to do anything, all the while hoping everyone else knows how to do things correctly, even though their the boss. Ive never been so embarrassed to work for clients before because of the lack of communication between the business and clients. No one knew what was going on or where the owner was more than half the time.

I had to pay another company to come in and make repairs.  If you are looking for "A Better Contractor" based on my experience, I would recommend you keep looking.  I hired A Better Contractor to repair damages following a tenant move out.  There was a large list of items that needed to be repaired.  Members at A Better Contractor were friendly and happy to get my business worth a total of nearly $6,000.  Carlos (the owner) requested payment quickly, and I paid the same day of getting the notice.  After the work was done, there were a number of things that were blatantly missed, screws not installed in new locks or hinges, items install but not painted, new counter tops with blemishes, doors that weren't installed correctly and requested items simply not fixed.  When I called to speak with Carlos he was angry when he answered the phone, when I mentioned the items that needed to be fixed he only got more upset.  I kindly mentioned I thought his attitude was extremely unprofessional and asked if there was a better time for us to talk, he said no. After reluctantly returning to the property to make repairs to work already paid for, some items were fixed some not.  He told the tenants he would follow up with me and never called.
