Beautiful rocks and minerals on display. World class copper displays and a cool viewing room of a type of rock that glows under certain light conditions. A great place to visit with friends or family or anyone who finds rocks somewhat interesting. It's well organized and the gift shop is reasonably priced.

Wonderful set up. Gift shop in the front with a diverse set of stone jewelry, figurines, bookends, bath bombs, etc. There's something for every rock lover. The museum itself has a great set up and wonderful specimens. It's easy to follow the flow of the museum and pick and choose where to spend your time.

Amazing collection of gems and minerals with a fascinating exhibit on fluorescent minerals. Also the best place in town to buy minerals.

This is the state mineral museum of Michigan, and it is both a beautiful place and an educational site. The mineral specimens are so beautiful, and the history presented with them is enlightening. I highly recommend a visit for everyone who loves hunting minerals, collecting pretty and interesting stones, or just wants to marvel at the minerals of our earth.
