Wandered in for lunch about a month ago after moving my friend into an apartment nearby. Best fried chicken I've had since my mom stopped cooking. Really friendly owners...I'll be back now that I know someone who lives nearby. Can't wait to try shrimp and grits on Sunday brunch menu!

Since i don't live in the area i only go for brunch on sundays but i LOVE IT!!! owners are personable as well as staff. The food is delicious! My favorite is the shrimp and grits. The price for the food is well worth it as i never finish all my food. Restaurant is and very relaxing. My favorite place for brunch now.

Went here for my anniversary, for brunch it was amazing! The amount of food you get and the quality it top notch! It was great to get really good soul food. I can't wait to come here again sometime during the week for the other delicious things they serve!

My friend and I was headed to a concert on 10/8/16 and was undecided on where to eat before the show. My cousin recommended Taste of Marinas. We decided to stop there and eat. So glad we did. The staff was soo pleasant and the food was really good. I am a very picky eater, but I have no complaints.  I order the fish, yams and collard greens (also mac n cheese by accident) everything I had was very good. The atmosphere was nice, cozy and welcoming. We will definitely go back again.
