I am so impressed by this salon. Becca was my stylist and she was absolutely amazing and really gave her input on what she thought would look good. I am so indecisive and really just hate doing anything to my hair, but she was such a gem. I've been to many salons where I have felt rushed or like I didn't belong, but not at this salon. She took her time and made me feel like a million bucks! Along with that my 7 year old daughter came and she also made her feel special by giving her a hot cocoa. This was such a treat and I honestly can't ever imagine going anywhere else! Thank you AVBS and Becca for everything you do. This honestly was such a treat for me and I cant wait to come back.

Went in for a color and it wasn't right. The girl acknowledged that it didn't come out like we discussed. I still paid over 100 dollars. I then came back in for a color correction and was charged for the color. All in all I spent around $175 and never liked my hair. It was not what I asked for!!! I just went to another salon and had it all cut off so I could start over it was so bad. Such a shame because I had such high hopes for this place!!! Boo!!!!!!!

McKenna is AMAZING! She is such a perfectionist and always makes me feel like she is 100% dedicated to making my hair exactly how I want it. I’ve used several area salons but definitely found my home here!

Wish could select a 0 star!
Multiple customer service and product issues.  
	1) Poor experience with stylist Karen Johnson and her boorish behavior towards her customer (in person and even worse in correspondence with her boss / the owner of AVBS); attached is an example of how she speaks about her customers behind their back!
	2) Complete lack of customer service - no return phone calls, identified this as being normal and further stated how we "should" have contacted them (we attempted over and over, 4 occasions, with no return call)
	3) Hair extensions falling out within 1 week of installation
	4) Didn't stand behind their services provided
	5) BBB Complaint filed - AVBS offered (after arguing that they were right and not addressing the issues at all) to provide full refund if we didn't expose their poor service and malfeasance and the nefarious people that they are online in any reviews or ratings of AVBS. 
BBB Complaint Filed 11/8/2017
Multiple customer service issues with AVBS: 1) express to the owners customer dis-satisfaction with Karen (hair stylist), 2) express to the owner customer dis-satisfaction with no return calls after 3 messages left, 3) return my wife's hair extensions by mailing them to our home address. I have correspondences from the owner from the owner on 10/30/2017. This text box will not permit me to include the contents of the emails. The owner's emails began after I already called on and left three messaged for the owner to call me, none of which were returned. The 4th call I made to the salon on 10/25/2017 was to identify the three items listed above and I confirmed our home address on the telephone with the person who answered. It took them 5 days to respond after I made the 4th call!

To whom is concerns,
First, as you will see by the screenshot of the email. I submitted a date correction the same day as my initial response. It is time-stamped, and I will be happy to forward this to Mr. Batz if he would like to see the original. I mention this because I was accused of being misleading with the truth of dates in my response.
Now, having said that. I'm now, finally, understanding what this process is. I had assumed it was a mediation with a third-party recommended judgement. It is not, it is simply Mr. Batz and myself continuing to send heated messages to one-another. The one-thing that Mr. Batz has said that I whole-heartedly agree with, is that this has gotten far out of hand and away from the original core issue, which is Mrs. Batz satisfaction.
If Mrs. Batz feels that a refund of $246.5 will help her feel better about the situation, then I am happy to do so. I'm sure Mr. and Mrs. Batz are very nice people, and isn't a problem for us to issue a refund to bring satisfaction to the situation. I have no interest in fighting a battle anymore, in order to simply feel "right."
We do ask something in return, which is that Mr. and Mrs. Batz please do not post public reviews of the salon by name or anonymously, and/or remove any that they may have posted. We also ask that any communications (emails and attachments) that have taken place between AVBS and themselves, both privately and as a part of this case with the BBB, be kept confidential. We agree to do the same.

I am rejecting this response because:
We do accept the complete refund that Michael Boss has offered.  
However, we do not accept the request to keep any opinions about this experience to ourselves.  Nor do we accept the request to keep any correspondences between ourselves or in this complaint "confidential".
1)  Freedom of speech - our first amendment
2)  Michael Boss asks for this now after he has exposed himself as the type of person he is, the type of business he runs and the type of people that he allows to work there - the public needs to know

I get my hair cut by Pippa, but all of the stylists there do a great job. And the atmosphere is very relaxed.
