Very poor. Though the guide started the excursion by touting her history credentials (yes, we get it, how many times can you mention that you have a PhD), very few were evident during the tour. We signed up for the "bars and brothels tour". However, the guide began giving the ghost tour introduction until we corrected her. She mentioned that she arrived in SF in 1975. Despite her resume, she seemed to primarily focus on "history" beginning when she first arrived in town. Being a local of 5 years, I can say with confidence that approximately half of her dates/fact about recent bars were inaccurate and the facts before 1975 were almost entirely based on hearsay. Worse of all, she was rude to the 4 of us in the group, practically reprimanding us subtly for having any discussion of our own whatsoever over the course of the night. Ultimately, the only redeeming part of the tour was the out of town visitors that joined us.
